2016: Saw action in 28 matches for Ithaca during the 2016 season, playing 92 sets… Registered 37 points on the season… Recorded six assists on the year… Tallied a season-high nine digs against Empire 8 rival SUNY Cortland on Oct. 4 when the Bombers took a 3–1 victory.

2015: Wierda played in 115 sets for the Bombers this season…She averaged 1.57 digs per set and 0.25 service aces per set…Season highlight came against SUNY Oneonta on Oct. 31, where she recorded a season-best 12 digs and registered a service ace…Tallied 11 digs on Oct. 7 against Cortland…Registered a season-high three service aces twice on the year, once against Gordon on Sept. 4 and once against New Paltz on Sept. 18…Finished the season with 180 digs, 29 service aces, 16 assists, and eight kills. | 2015 match-by-match statistics

2014: Wierda played in 99 sets over 32 matches as a freshman. She accumulated 58 digs, including a season-best 13 against St. Joseph’s-Long Island on Sept. 13. High School: A 2014 graduate of Cypress Bay High School, Wierda earned three varsity letters as a member of the volleyball team.

Personal: A television radio major, she is the daughter of William and Marlene Wierda.
