Biography

2016: Took the court for the Bombers in all of their 33 matches and 118 sets during the 2016 season… Garnered Empire 8 Player of the Year honors, only the second Ithaca player to do so, during her junior campaign… Earned All-Conference First Team accolades for the second straight year… Named to the New York All-Region Team… Named an Honorable Mention All-American by the AVCA… Named Empire 8 player of the week on two occasions… Notched a team-high 411.5 points… Ranked No. 1 on the Bombers and No. 5 in the Empire 8 after collecting 341 kills… Recorded 48 service aces, also a team-high… On the defensive end, logged 326 digs during her junior season… Recorded her 1,000 career kill on Oct. 18 in the Bombers matchup against SUNY Oneonta on Oct. 18… Logged a season-high 20 kills in Ithaca’s five-set thriller over Middlebury College in the opening round of NCAA Regionals. 

2015: Goldstein played in 119 sets for the Bombers as a sophomore…She averaged 3.20 kills per set and 2.86 digs per set…Named an AVCA All-American…Earned AVCA First-Team All-Region and was an Empire 8 First-Team All-Conference selection…NCAA Division III Potsdam Regional All-Tournament Team...Member of the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team…Named ECAC Metro/Upstate Second-Team All-Star...Chosen as Empire 8 Player of the Week on Oct. 19…Earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team at Fredonia on Oct. 3…Ranked first on the team with 381 kills, second on the team with 340 digs and third on the team with 35 service aces…Season highlight came against Houghton College on Sept. 26, where she tallied a career-high 20 kills and hit .366 on the day, while also collecting 14 digs and two blocks…Recorded double-digit kills in 22 matches on the season, the highest on the team…Matched her career-high 20 kills game against Clarkson on Nov. 14, while also recording 10 digs, two assists, and one block…Registered 18 games with double-figure digs, including a season-best 20 against Cortland on Oct. 7…Also tallied 19 kills and three assists to go along with her 20 digs in the game against Cortland…Finished the season with 381 kills, 340 digs, 41 blocks, 35 service aces and 31 assists. | 2015 match-by-match statistics

2014: Goldstein was named First Team All-Empire 8 as a freshman and was Rookie of the Week on Sept. 22. She played in all 36 matches for the Bombers and participated in 127 of 130 possible sets played. Goldstein led Ithaca in kills (383) and hitting percentage (.264). She also tallied 120 digs and 34 blocks. She eclipsed double-digit kills in 23 matches, including eight consecutive matches from Sept. 5-16. | 2014 match-by-match statistics

High School: A 2014 graduate of Kings Park High School, Goldstein earned varsity letters for lacrosse and volleyball. In Goldstein’s four years on the volleyball team, she was coached by Lizz Manly and helped Kings Park to three consecutive Long Island Championships and placed third in the state three straight seasons. Goldstein was All-State three times for volleyball, as well as All-Long Island and All-Country on three occasions. 

For lacrosse, she competed at the varsity level for four years and was named All-County twice. Goldstein earned Rookie of the Year honors as a freshman and was MVP twice.

Personal: A television radio major, she is the daughter of Marc and Angelyn Goldstein.
