2019: In the season opener against Nazareth on Feb 23, Simoncini caused four turnovers to go along with seven draw controls and four ground balls...On March 2, she caused one turnover with five draw controls and one ground ball against SUNY Cortland...Caused six turnovers while having three draw controls and three ground balls on March 10 against Scranton...Caused two turnovers against Gettysburg on March 14...Had seven draw controls and two ground balls while forcing one turnover against Skidmore on March 17...Had three ground balls and 12 draw controls against Brockport on March 20...Had five draw controls and one ground ball while causing one turnover against St. John Fisher on March 23...Had 10 draw controls against Rochester on March 26...Had five draw controls, seven ground balls and caused two turnovers against Union on March 30...Picked up five ground balls and six draw controls against St. Lawrence on April 5...Caused two turnovers and had seven draw controls against Clarkson on April 6... Picked up four ground balls, caused two turnovers and won six draw controls against RPI on April 13.
2018: In her junior campaign, Simoncini appeared in 17 games for the Bombers and made 16 starts. On defense she collected 38 ground balls ranking fourth most on the team and caused 19 turnovers for third most on the team. Simoncini also scored two goals and dished out one assist for three points on the season. Simoncini earned an All-Liberty League Honorable Mention selection. |
2018 Statistics
2017: Simoncini started all 19 games for the Bombers during her sophomore campaign. Logged 31 ground balls including 21 caused turnovers, cementing her role as a crucial player within the Bomber’s defensive unit. Recorded a season-best seven ground balls during an overtime win against nationally-ranked Cortland (3/23). She also won 10 draw controls for IC during the season. She was named an Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team selection. |

2016: Appeared in 19 games, which included five starts during her debut season in 2016. Amassed 19 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers as a key player on the Bombers defense core. Also won nine draw controls for IC during the year. Recorded her lone point on an assist in Ithaca’s 21-7 victory at Hartwick (4/16). Marked season highs in ground balls (3) and draw controls (3) in Ithaca’s 12-6 win over Skidmore (3/18). |
