Biography
2018: As a senior Sauer was a strong contributor to the Bombers defense. She started in all 19 contests for Ithaca, ranked first on the team in ground balls with 54 and second in turnovers caused with 41. She also dished out one assist on the year. Sauer earned a spot on the IWLCA All-Empire Region First Team and the All-Liberty League second team. |

2017 Statistics
2016: Started all 20 contests on defense for the Bombers in 2016. Finished tops on the team with 34 ground balls and 41 caused turnovers, while she also added seven draw controls during the season. Posted a season-high four ground balls twice during the year in victories over Skidmore (3/18) and Utica (4/24). She marked four-or-more caused turnovers in six contests on the season, which included a season-best five in the win over Skidmore (3/18). She was named an Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team selection at the conclusion of the year. |

2015: Sauer saw action in 12 games and started one during her freshman campaign. She posted season best numbers in a conference victory over Alfred, where she tallied four groundballs, one draw control and two caused turnovers. Sauer logged 8 groundballs, two draw controls and five caused turnovers overall in 2015. |

High School: A 2014 graduate of Pittsford Mendon High School, Sauer earned two varsity letters under lacrosse coaches Heidi Rasmussen and Donovan Lopez. Sauer earned first team honors and led her team to the sectional finals. Sauer also was a member of the alpine skiing and tennis teams.
Personal: A student in the exploratory program, she is the daughter of Steven and Stephanie Sauer.
