Biography

2016: Garnered Defensive Player of the Week honors on one occasion… Earned a spot on the NFHCA Senior Game roster… Started all 15 matchups for the Bombers in the net during its 2016 campaign… Tallied 1,001 minutes in goal… Credited with 121 saves on the season and a save percentage of .812… Posted four individual shutouts on the year, while she contributed to six clean sheets in total... Was named an Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team selection at the conclusion of the season. | 2016 Statistics

2015: Named Empire 8 Player of the Year… Earned First-Team All-Conference honors... Earned NFHCA North Atlantic All-Region honors...ECAC Mid-Atlantic Second-Team All-Star... Led Empire 8 goalkeepers in goals against average (0.75) and save percentage (.862)… Recorded eight shutouts… Finished 10th in Division III in goals against average... Season highlight came against Rochester on Sept. 16, when she recorded eight saves in a shutout effort. She played club field hockey while studying abroad in Australia during the spring semester at UNSW. 2014: Lass played every minute in goal for the Bombers in the 2014 season. She was named to the All-Empire 8 First Team, and was also an NFHCA All-North Atlantic Region Second Team selection. Lass led the conference in save percentage (.811) and shutouts (4). She finished the season with 120 saves and a goals-against-average of 2.071, which ranked second in the Empire 8. | 2014 game-by-game statistics

2013: Lass started all 18 games in goal of her freshman season for the Bombers. She was named Empire 8 Rookie of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Empire 8 Second Team after totaling 155 saves. Lass ranked second in the Empire 8 with a .812 save percentage and ranked third in the conference with a 2.70 goals-against average. Lass was named to the Empire 8 All-Tournament team after only allowing one goal to Utica. She was also named Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 30 after recording 28 saves against Stevens. | 2013 game-by-game statistics

High School: Lass is a graduate of Cherry Hill West High School where she played four years of varsity field hockey for coach Heidi Brunswick. She earned all-conference second team honors and was named MVP while serving as captain in her senior season.

Personal: Katie is an architectural studies major and is the daughter of Jennifer Lass.
