2014: The Empire 8 named Yanchus a second-team all-conference performer during his sophomore season after he batted .302 in 28 contests (25 starts). He collected 26 hits (four doubles, two homeruns and a triple) in 86 at bats with 15 RBI and 13 runs scored. He also walked nine times and stole nine bases. His .442 slugging percentage ranked fourth on the team, while his .396 on-base percentage was fifith. From Mar. 11 to Apr. 6, he hit safely in 11 of 13 games, and seven of those contests were multi-hit games. |

2013 game-by-game statisticsHigh School: A 2012 graduate of Owego High School, Yanchus was coached by Ken Francisco. He earned four varsity letters, and was a team captain as a junior and senior. Yanchus was also a two time all-conference and all-state selection.
