2016 game-by-game statistics
2016: Named Empire 8 Conference Honorable Mention selection… Picked up first win of the season against St. Joseph’s (L.I.) on March 6th, giving up four hits and one run… Appeared in one inning of relief on March 30th against Oneonta allowing no hits and striking out two… On April 2nd he threw a complete game allowing four runs and striking out six at Stevens … Recorded his second win of the season against Canton on April 10th striking out nine… On April 14th against SUNY Cortland came into the game and threw 3.2 innings of relief allowing no hits, no earned runs, and recording four strikeouts… On April 20th at Elmira recorded his fourth win of the season throwing for six innings striking out four and only allowing one earned run… Came into the game against Houghton on April 23rd and threw for one inning, striking out one, and recording his first save of the season… On April 27th against Brockport picked up his fifth win of the season, throwing for 6.1 innings allowing zero earned runs and striking out three… Threw five innings against St. Lawrence on May 4th with a strong performance allowing only four hits, one earned run, and striking out one…Tossed a complete game against Elmira on May 7th with eight strikeouts and just one earned run.
2015: Led the team in strikeouts… Made eight starts, picking up his first win of the season on April 3rd against Houghton when he pitched a complete game and struck out nine while only surrendering an unearned run… Named Empire 8 Pitcher of the Week on April 20th after going 1-0, throwing 9.2 innings, with 12 strikeouts, and only allowing five hits. He tossed seven shutout innings in an 11-0 win over Utica, tallying six strikeouts. He also struck out six in two and two-thirds innings against Rochester in a relief appearance... Struck out 10 while only allowing two runs and two walks in a loss against St. John Fisher on April 25th… Pitched a complete game shutout in the first game of a doubleheader against Stevens on May 2nd, he struck out three batters and did not walk a single batter.  |

2014: Parkes was chosen as an Empire 8 honorable mention selection after a 3-4 sophomore campaign with 32 strikeouts in 49.2 innings pitched. He ranked second on the team in innings pitched and appeared in 10 games with seven starts. Parkes recorded a 3.26 ERA, and tossed complete games wins against Stevens on Apr. 5 and New Paltz on Apr. 26. |

2013: Parkes played at Oneonta in 2013.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Lansing High School, Parkes was coached by Stu Dean. He was named first team all-state and was named to the Section IV all-star team. Â Parkes was a captain his junior and senior seasons. He also named third team all-state in soccer.
Personal: A physical education and health promotion dual major, he is the son of Peter and Karen Parkes.
