2016: Appeared on the mound in 14 games … On March 6th in one inning of relief, struck two out and gave up one hit against St. Joseph’s (L.I.)… Threw a season-high of 4.2 innings at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on March 15th… Threw one perfect inning of relief on March 29th against Oswego… At Rochester on April 12th, threw four innings striking out eight and recorded his first save of the season… On April 17th at Utica, came in for one inning of relief allowing no hits… Struck out two batters over two innings against St. John Fisher on May 8th. | 2016 game-by-game statistics

2014: Barer appeared in nine games with two starts as a freshman. He went 1-1 on the season with a 3.91 ERA and struck out 14 batters in 25.1 innings pitched. He also notched one save against St. John Fisher on Apr. 19. | 2014 game-by-game statistics

High School: At Joel Barrow high school, he was a two-time Pitcher of the Year for under head coach Jeff Reyes. Barer also attended Suffield Academy where he played water polo along with basbeball.
 
Personal: A communication studies major, he is the son of Andrew and Debbi Barer
