2018: In his final season, Cotton appeared and started in all 20 games for the Bombers. He ranked second on the team in points with 44 on a team top three 25 goals and top two 19 assists. Cotton also collected 28 ground balls and caused four turnovers. To finish his outstanding career for IC, Cotton finished number three in career points with 233 and goals with 102. Cotton also finished number one in season points with 99 (2016), and number one in season assists with 53 (2016). This year Cotton also received Liberty League honor roll recognition.
2017: Cotton wrapped up his junior season with another outstanding performance. He ranked second on the team and tied seventh in the conference with 57 points. His team-high 38 assists were second-most in the E8 on the year, he also added 19 goals, finishing number five on the team. Cotton appeared in 17 games for the Bombers making 15 starts and made it on the Empire 8 All-Conference First Team.Â
2016: Cotton enjoyed a stellar sophomore campaign, which witnessed him develop into one of the most dynamic offensive talents in the nation. He paced IC with 99 points and 53 assists, both setting new single-season program records.
 Cotton appeared in and started 21 games, ranking second on the team in man-up goals (five) and third on the team in goals scored. In the Empire 8, Cotton was second in assists and points, and was fourth in goals scored. In 14 games, Cotton recorded four or more points, including 10 straight from March 9 through April 19. He was named an Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team selection, as well as a USILA Honorable Mention All-American at the conclusion of the season.
2015: Cotton saw action in all 18 of the Bombers’ games as a freshman. He ranks third on the team with 23 assists and fifth with 17 goals, totaling 40 points in his rookie campaign. Cotton recorded a season-best two goals and four assists in a 12-5 conference win over St. John Fisher. He scooped 11 groundballs and forced four turnovers in 2015. |
Game-by-Game Statistics
High School: A 2014 graduate of Framingham High School, Cotton earned three varsity letters under lacrosse coach Ed Moy. He was a two-time Bay State All-Star and was named to the Metro West first-team. Cotton also earned a varsity letter as a member of the basketball team.
Personal: An accounting major, he is the son of Ken and Dyan Cotton. His father, Ken Cotton graduated from Ithaca College in 1989.
