Biography

2017: Named Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year...Threw two innings at Chapman on March 16th, allowing one run on two hits...

2016: Cutting made one appearance in the circle as a sophomore and allowed one run in one inning.

2015: Cutting appeared in four games as a freshmen. She recorded one hit in four at-bats, picking up a double, an RBI and a run scored in a game at Houghton on April 11. Cutting was also named to the Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year Team. | 2015 Game-by-game statistics

High School: Cutting is a graduate of Afton Central High School. She played varsity softball under coach Cindy Bostlemon for six seasons. Cutting was a four-time all-state selection, including two stints on the first team. She was also a four-time league all-star.  

Personal: Payton is a physical therapy major and is the daughter of Ernie and Tina Cutting.
