2016: A First-Team All-Region and Empire 8 selection during her senior season, Macari led the team with a 15-5 record inside the circle. Her 1.53 earned run average was tops on the team and ranked second among all conference pitchers. Macari made 29 total appearances including 18 starts and recorded 13 complete games and seven shutouts. She was named Empire 8 and ECAC Pitcher of the Week on April 25 after pitching to a 5-0 record during the previous week’s schedule. At one point during the season, Macari had not allowed a run in 35.2 consecutive innings. Macari led the Bombers’ pitching staff in innings (128.0) and tied for the team-lead with 91 strikeouts. She concludes her career with 37 wins which is tied for the sixth-most in program history while her 373.1 career innings pitched is the eighth-most among all Ithaca pitchers. She was named to the Empire 8 Championship’s and NCAA Regional’s All-Tournament Team.
2015: Macari earned Empire 8 Honorable Mention after finishing with a 9-6 record in her junior season. She made 19 appearances, including 16 starts with 12 complete games and two shutouts. Macari pitched 95.1 innings, giving her the sixth highest total in the conference. She recorded a 3.08 ERA and recorded 76 strikeouts, ranking eighth and fifth in the Empire 8, respectively. Macari held opponents to a .279 batting average, which also ranked among the best in the Empire 8. |
