High School: A 2010 graduate of Lockport High School, Bartkowiak was a member of the cross country team coached by Bob Eberhardt. She served as team captain during her sophomore and junior seasons and also earned MVP honors during that season. She was also a member of the track & field team.
Personal: An athletic training/physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Ron and Cindy Bartkowiak.
