Biography
2015-16: Dowd received second -team All-Conference honors and was named E8 Sportswoman of the Year. Dowd also received All-UNYSCSA honors in the 1650-yard Freestyle.
2014-15: Dowd participated in numerous events including freestyle, butterfly and relays.
2013-14: Dowd competed in nearly every freestyle event, as well is individual medleys and relays. She earned a first place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle on Jan. 25, 2014. Her best relay finish was fourth in the 200-yard freestyle at William Smith on Nov. 5, 2013.
High School: Dowd graduated from Sachem East High School where she earned four letters for coach Katie Dugan. She earned all-league recognition in 2011 and 2012.
Personal: Brenna is a cinema and photography major and is the daughter of Betsy and Edward Dowd.
