2015-16: Cox earned four All-State honors in four different freestyle events and received a championship honor for the 200-yard Medley Relay at the UNYSCSA championships.

2014-15: Cox was a two-time Empire 8 Runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard freestyle relay. She earned three all-state honors, including UNYSCSA Runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle. Cox participated in numerous events including freestyle, backstroke and relays. Her 50-yard freestyle time of 25.07 at the state meet marked the Bombers’ second fastest finish of the season. 

2013-14: Cox earned All-Empire 8 Second Team honors after helping the 200-yard freestyle relay team place second at the UNYSCSA / Empire 8 Championships. The finish also earned her UNYSCSA runner-up honors. Cox earned three all-state selections in total after a seventh place finish in the 100-yard freestyle and an eight place finish in the 200-yard freestyle.    

2012-13: In her first season as a Bomber, Cox contributed on a number of relay teams. She earned all-state honors with third place finishes in the 800-yard and 400-yard relay teams at the UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Championships. Cox was part of the team that finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay, earning her All-Empire 8 Second Team honors. 

High School: Lauren is a 2012 graduate of Webster Thomas High School.

Personal: A sport management major, Lauren is the daughter of Rich and Julie Cox.
