2014-15: Kennedy was an all-state and all-conference runner-up after helping the 200-yard medley relay team finish second overall at the Empire 8 / UNYSCSA Championships. The group’s time of 1:32.51 tied for third fastest finish in school history. Kennedy was also named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention. 

2013-14: Kennedy earned all-state honors with a seventh place finish in the 200-yard backstroke at the Empire 8 / UNYSCSA Championships. He also competed in individual medley and relay events throughout the season. His best relay finish was third in the 200-yard medley relay on Jan. 25, 2014. 

2012-13: Kennedy earned all-state honors in his second season with the Bombers, placing fifth in the 200-yard backstroke at the UNYSCSA Championships. He won the 100-yard backstroke in the first meet of the season against Brockport, finishing the race in 54.78. Kennedy paced the field with a time of 2:00.48 in the 200-yard backstroke against Rensselaer on Oct. 27, 2012. 

High School: A 2011 graduate of Belmont High School, Kennedy earned varsity letters each of his four seasons competing for coach E.V. Crosscup. He was also a league all-star all four years and the team MVP as a senior. Kennedy holds team records in the 100 back and 200 IM.

Personal: A public and community health major, he is the son of David and Michele Kennedy.
