Biography

2014: Sanders went 5-1 in seven appearances with six starts. He tossed one complete game shutout and finished the year with a 3.82 ERA over 35.1 innings. Against Stevens on Apr. 6, he notched his shutout in seven innings of work, and scattered nine hits with two strikeouts. | 2014 game-by-game statistics

2013: During the 2013 season, Sanders posted a 3-2 record with a save in appearances (three starts). He tossed 31.2 innings with a 3.41 ERA and held the opposition to a .254 average. His best outing of the season came against Oneonta on Apr. 23, where he threw seven innings and gave up just four hits with five strikeouts in a winning effort. | 2013 game-by-game statistics

High School: A 2011 graduate of Auburn High School, Sanders was coached by T.J. Gamba, an all-American outfielder at Ithaca and member of the school’s Hall of Fame. Sanders earned first-team all-league honors as a senior.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Dan and Beth Sanders.
