Biography

2014: Connolly was an honorable mention all-conference performer as a junior after he started and played in 35 games. He hit .291 on the season with 34 hits in 117 at bats. He doubled 10 times and notched 22 RBI. On the bases, he led the Bombers with 15 steals in 16 attempts. Connolly recorded 10 multi-hit games in 2014, and had two four-game hitting streaks. | 2014 game-by-game statistics

2013: As a sophomore, Connolly was named Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, E8 Second Team and D3Baseball.com New York Second Team All-Region. He ranked second on the team with a .380 batting average in 40 games and 28 starts. Connolly slugged at a .500 clip with seven doubles, a triple and homerun to also rank second, as was his .444 on-base percentage. He made just two errors in 256 attempts for a .992 fielding percentage. | 2013 game-by-game statistics

2012: Connolly played for Ithaca’s junior varsity team.
 
High School: A 2011 graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School, Connolly was coached by Ken Tocci. He earned four varsity letters, was a team captain and was league all-star. Connolly currently holds the Silver Lake Regional High School record for batting average in a single season.  

Personal: A health sciences major, he is the son of Jim and Lorraine Connolly.
