2014-15: All-NYSCTC, Outdoor Javelin Throw
High School: A 2013 graduate of Keene High School, Shakour was a three-year letter winner on the track & field team for coach David Goldsmith. A thrower, he was a three-time Field MVP. He placed second in the discus at the state meet as a junior and 18th in New England. As a senior, he placed third in discus and fifth in javelin at the state meet. Shakour also played two years of basketball for the Blackbirds.
Personal: A student in the emerging media program, he is the son of Mitchell Shakour and Carla Folkert.
