High School: A 2013 graduate of Ransom Everglades School, Smith was a four-year letter winner on the track & field team. A team captain as a senior, she was a state finalist in the discus and shot put, a regional champion in the discus and regional runner-up in the shot. The 2011 team field MVP, Smith earned the performance award. She was a three-time district champion in the discus and won districts in the shot put in 2013. She graduated as the school record holder in the discus, shot put and 4x100-meter relay. Smith also played basketball.
Personal: A business administration major, she is the daughter of Clifton and Sheila Smith.
