Career statistics

2013-14: An All-Empire 8 second-team selection, Escobido was named Empire 8 Player of the Week on Jan. 27 after becoming the 12th player in program history to amass 1,000 points. An Empire 8 All-Tournament Team pick, she ranked third on the team with 11.0 points per game, tallying 340 over the course of 31 starts. Escobido grabbed 185 rebounds, 6.0 per game, highlighted by a team-best 93 offensive boards. Averaging 31.2 minutes per game, she ranked second on the team with a field-goal percentage of 50.8 (135-of-266) and second with 45 steals in 2013-14. Escobido added 45 assists and a pair of blocks. She recorded four double-doubles during the season, including two during the NCAA Tournament. Escobido posted 16 double-digit scoring performances and scored a season-best 24 in a Jan. 24 victory over Stevens. She concluded her Bomber career ranked sixth on the all-time rebounds list with 726 boards and ninth all-time with 1,163 points. | 2013-14 Game-by-Game Statistics

2012-13: An All-Empire 8 Honorable Mention, Escobido was named to the Empire 8 Championship Tournament All-Tournament Team after helping the Bombers to their second straight conference crown. Escobido, who started 29 of the Bombers’ 30 games, ranked fourth on the team scoring 8.0 points per game and second with 6.1 rebounds per contest, highlighted by a squad-high 91 offensive boards. She shot a Bomber-best .794 from the free throw line, converting 50 of 63. Escobido had a team-high 55 steals and added 46 assists and seven blocks. She tallied a pair of double-doubles on the season. She recorded 10 or more points 11 times and double-digit rebounds on five occasions. 2011-12: Escobido became the program’s third all-American, receiving honorable mention to the WBCA all-America team. The Empire 8 Player of the Year, she was a first-team all-region selection by D3hoops.com and the WBCA. Escobido was named MVP of the Empire 8 Championship Tournament after averaging 14.0 points 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in Ithaca’s two wins, shooting 50 percent from the floor and 70 percent from the free-throw line. She led the Empire 8 in field-goal percentage; her 56.5 mark was the program’s second-highest single-season figure and would have ranked 11th nationally (she was 10 baskets short of meeting the minimum qualifying standard). Escobido also ranked among the league leaders in rebounding (fifth), free-throw percentage (10th) and scoring (13th). She recorded nine double-doubles on the season, starting with 13 points and a career-best 16 rebounds in the overtime win over Cortland. Escobido scored a career-high 21 points in the win at Elmira, then added 20 (in just 23 minutes) the next day at Alfred, pulling down 15 rebounds as well. She bested her top scoring total with 22 points against St. John Fisher in the Empire 8 semifinals; in the title game against Hartwick she matched a career best with four assists. 2010-11: Escobido, who received honorable mention to the Empire 8 all-star team, was the Bombers’ second leading scorer with 8.7 points per game as a freshman. She played in all 27 games, making five starts, and had a team-leading .579 field goal percentage having made 88 of 152. Named Empire 8 Rookie of the Week on Feb. 7, Escobido scored in double figures 10 times and drained a season-best 17 points at St. Lawrence. She recorded a pair of double-doubles. High School: A 2010 graduate of Norwich Free Academy, Escobido was coached by Bill Scarlata. She helped the Wildcats to state championships her junior and senior year. Escobido also lettered in volleyball.

Personal: A physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Mark Escobido and Christine Wood.
