Biography

2015-16: Toribio had a breakout junior season, rolling up a 30-7 overall record, which included a 13-3 mark in dual meet bouts. He racked up 11 falls and two technical falls during the year.  He secured a weight-class championship at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational. He added an All-New York State performance with a fourth-place showing at the NYS Collegiate Championships. He added second-place finishes at both the ECWC Championships and the NCAA Division III Northeast Regionals, earning ECWC Wrestler of the Week honors between the two events. He earned his first NCAA All-American accolade with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Division III Championships.  | 2015-16 Stats
 
2014-15: Toribio had an impressive 13-2 record his sophomore season, including a nine-match win streak to start his season. He finished undefeated at the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Championships, placing first at the 184-pound weight class. He was named ECWC Wrestler of the Week following his performance at the championships. Toribio’s only two losses came at the Division III Northeast Regional, where he finished in fifth place. His final loss of the season came against the eventual 184-pound fourth place medal winner at the Division III Championships. He finished 5-0 in dual matches, and had an 87% winning percentage. | 2014-15 Stats

2013-14: Toribio was a key contributor for the Bombers in his freshman season and qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships following a third-place finish at 174 pounds in the NCAA Northeast Regionals. Toribio won his weight-class bracket at the Ithaca Invitational and also at the York Invitational, where he was named as that event's Most Outstanding Wrestler. He was twice named ECWC Rookie of the Week during the year. Toribio went 10-3 in dual matches. | 2013-14 Statistics

High School: A 2013 graduate of Brentwood High School, Toribio was a varsity wrestler there.

Personal: A business management major, Carlos is the son of William and Emilia Toribio. His sister Williany Toribio, also attends Ithaca College.
