Biography

2015-16: Sprung went 8-11 during his junior season with three of those victories coming as pins.  | 2015-16 Stats
 
2014-15: Sprung finished with a 24-11 record in his sophomore season. He placed second at the New York State Intercollegiate Championships, advancing through the first round with a bye, then recorded two straight pins and a 1-0 decision win to advance to the final round, before bowing out to a Division I opponent in the finals. Sprung finished third at the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Championships at the heavyweight level. He was the runner-up at the Jamestown Community College Open, with his only loss coming from a Division I opponent. | 2014-15 Stats

2013-14: Sprung participated as a heavyweight in six matches during his freshman season as a Bomber, earning two overall wins. | 2013-14 Stats

High School: A 2013 graduate of Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School, Sprung is a four-time varsity letter winner for track & field and wrestling. Sprung was a two-time sectional champion and 2012 state qualifier for wrestling. He also is tied his high school record for most career wins.

Personal: An environmental science major, he is the son of Timothy and Susan Sprung.
