Ithaca College Athletics

2013-14: Schimek made a huge impact on the Ithaca lineup in his first season with the Bombers. He was nationally-ranked at 165 pounds by both the NWCA and d3wrestle.com and won four tournament titles, including the NCAA Northeast Regional to earn his first trip to the NCAA Division III Championships. He began the year with a championship at the Ithaca Invitational and also won titles at the York Invitational and the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference Championships. | 2013-14 Statistics

2011-13: Schimek spent two years at Nassau County Community College where he was a two-time National Junior College Athletic Association all-American, including one fifth-place finish and one second-place finish at the NJCAA Championships.

High School: He is a 2011 graduate of Pine Valley Central School and finished his career with 151 wins, second-most in Panthers program history. He also played football at Pine Valley. Schimek was a state-qualifier as a senior.

Personal: A computer science major, Kristopher is the son of Nicole Schimek.
