Biography

2015-16: Powell went 4-4 during his junior year. Three of those victories came as falls. He finished fourth at the 141-pound weight class at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational.  | 2015-16 Stats
 
2014-15: Powell wrestled in 3 matches, participating in the Ithaca Invitational and the New York State Collegiate Championships at the 133-pound weight class. |  2014-15 Stats

2013-14:  Powell recorded two victories his freshman season at 133, including a technical fall. He competed in nine matches for the Bombers. | 2013-14 Stats

High School: A 2013 graduate of Swampscott High School, Powell earned varsity letters for cross country, track & field and wrestling.  He was Sectional Champion two years in a row, and a three-time state place finisher for wrestling. Powell was a three-time league All-star and received honors of Northern Conference MVP. He was a part of the 2012 Massachusetts National team and two-year team captain.

Personal:  A pre-professional health science major, he is the son of Robert and Amy Powell.
