Biography

2015-16: Escobar did not appear in any bouts during his senior season.
 
2014-15: Escobar posted a 5-6 record during his junior season, which included a single major decision victory in the first round of the 149-pound weight class at the New York State Intercollegiate Championships. | 2014-15 Stats

2013-14: During his first year at Ithaca College, Escobar recorded four wins as a sophomore transfer, two of which were won by pins. He mainly wrestled at the 149 position. | 2013-14 Stats

2012-13: Escobar attended Utica College his freshman year, where he did not wrestle.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Brentwood High School, Josue was coached by Scott Green. He earned two varsity awards, was named All-League and received the White Letter Award.

Personal: A physical therapy major, he is the son of Arelio and Alreh Escobar.
