2014-15: Did not participate in any events in the 2014-15 season.

2013-14: Lapnas earned two all-state honors in her freshman campaign after placing eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke and seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke at the Empire 8 / UNYSCSA Championships. She also competed in freestyle, individual medley and relay events throughout the year. She placed second in the 200-yard medley relay at RPI on Oct. 26, 2014. 

High School: Lapnas graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School where she earned four letters in swimming for coach Marty Guilfoyle.  She was named to the all-county first team all four years.
 
Personal:  Aleksa is a pre-professional major and is the daughter of Jill and Tom Lapnas.
