Biography
2013-14: Pascoe swam freestyle at every distance. She also competed in breaststroke and relays. Her best individual performance was a fourth place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle on Feb. 1, 2014.
2012-13: Pascoe earned all-state honors with a sixth place finish at the UNYSCSA in the 1650-yard freestyle. She swept the distance freestyle events against Brockport, touching first in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:23.42. She later won the 500 free in 5:35.92. Pascoe also won the 1000-yard freestyle against RPI.
2011-12: Pascoe earned her first-career all-state hono by placing fifth in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:50.57 that was also the Empire 8 Runner-Up finish at the season-ending championships. That time ranks second-fastest in Ithaca history.
2010-11: Pascoe swam in distance freestyle events as a freshman and clocked the team's best time in the 1,000-yard freestyle when she was second in 11:16.22 in a dual meet at Union.
High School: A 2010 graduate of Palisades Charter High School, Pascoe was a four-year varsity swimmer for coach Maggie Nance in distance freestyle events. She won the coaches award.
Personal: A student in the exploratory program, Shelby is the daughter of John and Sue Pascoe.
