Biography
2014-15: Cohen participated in several events including freestyle, butterfly and relays. She finished recorded Ithaca’s fifth fastest time in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:02.62.
2013-14: Cohen saw action in freestyle, butterfly and relay events. She was part of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team at William Smith on Nov. 5, 2013. Her best individual finish was fifth overall in the 1000-yard freestyle on Jan. 25, 2014.
2012-13: Cohen competed in the 200-yard medley relay and the 50-yard freestyle during the season. She took fourth in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:51.24 in the first meet of the year against Oswego.
High School: Lainey is a 2012 graduate of Ellsworth High School.
Personal: A politics and journalism major, she is the daughter of Jill and David Cohen.
