Ithaca College Athletics

2013-14: Cadwell earned two all-conference and all-state honors with second place finishes in 200-yard freestyle relay and 800-yard freestyle relay. He also earned an individual all-state selection with a sixth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle at the Empire 8 / UNYSCSA Championships. Cadwell appeared at the NCAA Championships and earned two all-America honors, as he helped the 200-yard freestyle relay team to a 14th place finish and the 800-yard freestyle relay team to a 12th place finish.

2012-13: Did not see action. 

2011-12: Cadwell participated in the NCAA Championships as a junior, earning all-America status as a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay that placed 13th. He was a four-time all-state honoree and part of the 200-yard freestyle relay that won the Empire 8 championship and also set an Ithaca school record. Individually, he placed in the top-seven in the state in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle. His time of 1:42.24 in the 200 free was the second-fastest in Ithaca history.

2010-11: As a sophomore, Cadwell earned five all-state finishes and three all-conference finishes at the season-ending UNYSCSA / Empire 8 Championships.

2009-10: Cadwell earned all-state honors as a freshman by placing eighth in the 500-yard freestyle in 4:48.10. He was also part of Ithaca's all-state team in the 800-yard freestyle relay, which placed sixth. Cadwell swam freestyle events.

High School: A 2009 graduate of C.W. Baker High School, Cadwell swam for coaches Ryan and Tom Ross. He competed in freestyle events, earning one varsity letter. Cadwell was a three-time team MVP. He also earned silver and bronze medals in the Empire State Games in the 400-yard freestyle relay and the 800 free relay.

Personal: A computer science major, he is the son of Tom Cadwell and Lisa Denny.
