2014: Lapre was named to the All-NYSCTC Second Team. He was also honored as Empire 8 Runner of the Week on Oct. 13.
2013: Lapre competed in six races as a freshman. He clocked a season-best 8,000-meter time of 26:59.30 at the Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational.
High School: A 2013 graduate of Coyle and Cassidy High School, Lapre was a letter winner in cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field for head coach Dave Barbato. An Eastern Athletic Conference All-Star in cross country and T&F, Lapre received all-state honors his senior year in both sports. He earned Taunton Gazette First-Team honors in T&F on three occasions and led his team to a runner-up finish at divisional states in cross country.
Personal: A physics major, he is the son of Raymond and Mary Lapre.
