2016: Participated in seven races this season, including the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships, where he finished with a time of 25:58.70…Earned First Team All-Conference after placing 9th at the Empire 8 Championships with a time of 26:45.90…Member of the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
2013:Â Gutierrez competed in six races as a freshman. He clocked a season-best 8,000-meter time of 28:49.30 at the Geneseo Invitational.
High School: A 2013 graduate of Hopewell Valley, Gutierrez was a letter winner in cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field. Named MVP during cross country season, Gutierrez earned most improved and the coaches’ award during T&F.
Personal:Â An accounting major, he is the son of Jorge and Elizabeth Gutierrez.
