TFRRS Profile and Results

2014: Ryan was named All-Empire 8 First-Team and All-NYSCTC Third-Team.

2013: Ryan competed in seven races as a junior captain. He clocked a season-best 8,000-meter time of 26:20.10 at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championship, the third-fastest time on the team in 2013. He finished third at the Empire 8 Championship to tally first-team recognition and placed 11th at the NYSCTC Championship to earn second-team nods. Ryan was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team and the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014.

2012: Ryan competed in seven races during his sophomore season. He tallied a season-best time of 26:46.00 in the 8,000-meter run at the Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational. Ryan placed 10th at the Empire 8 Championship to earn Second-Team All-E8 accolades. He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.

2011: Ryan competed in six races as a freshman. He recorded season-best times of 27:27.13 in the 8,000-meter run and 28:43.00 in the 5.2-mile run. Ryan was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2011 and Spring 2012.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Coventry High School, Ryan four-year member and captain of the cross country team. He was named the team MVP in 2009 and earned first-team all-division and second-team all-class in 2010. Ryan was also a four-year member of the track & field team earning all-state accolades in 2011 as the 1,000-meter class champion.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Anne and Doug Ryan. He is also a middle distance runner on Ithaca's track & field team.
