TFRRS Profile and Results

2015: Hitchcock earned his second straight Empire 8 Runner of the Year honor. He was also named to the NCAA Division III Championship where he finished 64th overall after he took seventh at the Atlantic Regionals. Hitchcock was named Empire 8 Runner of the Week twice.

2014: Hitchcock was named Runner of the Year by the Empire 8. He earned an individual bid to the NCAA Championship after being named NCAA All-Region. Hitchcock was selected for the All-Empire 8 and All-NYSCTC First Team. He was also a six-time conference Runner of the Week.

2013: Hitchcock competed in five races as a sophomore. He clocked a season-best 8,000-meter time of 26:13.10 at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championship, the second-best 8K time on the team in 2013. Named Empire 8 Runner of the Week on September 16, he placed 19th at the NYSCTC Championship to tally third-team recognition. Hitchcock was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team and the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014.

2012: Hitchcock, the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, competed in eight races during his rookie season. He tallied a season-best time of 26:01.50 in the 8,000-meter run at the NCAA Championship. Hitchcock ran to a 25th-place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championship to earn all-region accolades. He finished sixth at the conference meet to receive Empire 8 Rookie of the Meet and First-Team All-E8 honors. Hitchcock was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team and the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School, Hitchcock was a four-year letter winner on the cross country and track & field teams.

Personal: A student in the exploratory program, he is the son of Dan and Janice Hitchcock. He is also a member of Ithaca's track & field team.
