Biography

2010-11: Gonzalez competed in two events during her first semester of collegiate golf, and posted season-best rounds of 105 in back-to-back days at the Martin/Wallace Invitational at Cortland Country Club, where she finished 46th.

Low 36-hole score: 210

High School: A 2010 graduate of Southwest High, Gonzalez was a four-year member of the varsity golf team for coach Sean Seibel, and earned first-team all-league recognition as a senior. She earned valedictorian honors at Southwest.

Personal: A journalism major, Elma is the daughter of Aguenda Margules and Enrique Gonzalez.
