Biography

2013: Schenk competed in six races as a graduate student. She clocked season-best times of 16:21.20 in the 4,000-meter run, 20:18.50 in the 5,000 and 24.33.60 in the 6,000. Schenk was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Spring 2014.

2012: Schenk competed in seven races during her senior season. She tallied season-best times of 16:24.90 in the 4,000-meter run, 19:45.15 in the 5,000 and 24:00.50 in the 6,000.

2011: Schenk did not compete in any races as a junior.

2010: Schenk competed in eight races during her sophomore season. She recorded season-best performances of 15:54.70 in the 4,000-meter run at Cortland’s Jack Daniels Invitational, 18:48.00 in the 5,000 run at the Empire 8 Championships to finish seventh and earn first-team all-conference honors and 23:43.60 in the 6,000 run at the Oneonta Airfield Invitational. Schenk placed 19th at the NYSCTC Championships to collect third-team all-state accolades.

2009: She competed at the Reif Invitational at Cornell where she finished in 38th place with a time of 22:04.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Brick Township High School, Schenk was coached by Bill Brunner. She was team captain and the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior. She also lettered in track & field.

Personal: An occupational therapy major, she is the daughter of Robert and Maryann Schenk. She is also a member of Ithaca's track & field team.
