2015: Dobbins started in 16 games this season for the Bombers…Named Second-Team All-Conference...Was a member of the Bombers' defense that recorded six shutouts and only allowed 1.11 goals per game…Season highlight came against Nazareth on Oct. 17, where he recorded a season-high two assists and a season-high four shots…Ranked first on the team in assists, finishing with three assists…Tied his season-high in shots with four on Elmira on Oct. 24…Finished the season three assists, totaling three points, and 32 shots.
2014: Dobbins played in 15 games this season for the Bombers, starting 13. He was given All-Empire 8 Second Team honors for the 2014 campaign. Dobbins finished the year with four points, coming from one goal and two assists. His two assists tied for first on the team. Dobbins had 14 shots on this season, seven of which were on goal. He helped anchor a Bomber defense that allowed only 1.53 goals per game, which ranked fourth in the conference.
2013: Dobbins played in all 17 of the Bombers’ games and made 15 starts in 2013. He was part of a defense that allowed just 1.45 goals-per-game, which ranked among the best in the Empire 8. He had one assist on the year.
2012: Dobbins saw action in 10 games and made eight starts for the Bombers in 2012. He scored one goal on 10 shots, finishing the year with two points. Dobbins earned Empire 8 Player of the Week honors on Sept. 10 after helping the Bombers to two-straight shutouts. Dobbins scored his lone goal of the season, the game-winning tally against No. 11 Muhlenberg. He was also named the ECAC Division III Upstate Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 10, 2012.
High School: Dobbins is a graduate of Randolph High School where he earned two varsity letters in soccer. Under head coach George Mousis, Dobbins earned Morris-County First Team honors and was named to the all-conference first team.
Personal: Joseph is a physical therapy major and is the son of Robert and Pauline Dobbins.
