Biography

High School: A 2013 graduate of Patuxent High School, Schmidt was a three-year letter winner at outside hitter. She earned all-conference recognition as a junior and senior and was named team MVP in 2012. In 2010, Schmidt was selected to the all-county team and received the coaches’ award, while in 2011 she was named the team’s outstanding hitter.

Personal: An exercise science major, she is the daughter of William Schmidt and Trisha Rent.
