2013: Named Ithaca’s Empire 8 Volleyball Sportswoman of the Year, Kim played in 34 of the Bombers’ 38 games as a senior captain, starting 18. 2012: Kim played in each of the Bombers’ 28 matches as a junior captain, while starting 25. She recorded 102 digs, 69 kills, 30 blocks (2 solo, 28 assists) and 24 aces. Career statistics

High School: A 2010 graduate of Beverly Hills High School and a three-year letterwinner on the Normans volleyball squad, Kim was coached by Marla Weiss. In 2008 and 2009 Kim was named to the first-team all-dean’s league and served as a captain her senior season. Kim also played on the basketball team and was a jumper on the track & field team at her high school.

Personal: A psychology major, she is the daughter of Michael and Youngsoo Kim.
