2015: Gawinski-Stern played in 126 sets for the Bombers this season…Earned the title of Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year…She averaged 3.93 digs per set and 0.80 assists per set…Season highlight came against SUNY Canton on Oct. 3, where she collected a career-high 23 digs, along with one kill and one assist…Ranked first on the team in digs with 495 and second on the team in assists with 101…Surpassed 1,000 career digs against St. Joe’s – L.I. on Sept. 18…Reached double-digit kills in 26 matches on the year…Recorded a season-best four kills against Hilbert on Oct. 3, finishing the match hitting .400 percent…Finished the season with 495 digs, 101 assists, 24 service aces, and 14 kills. | 2015 match-by-match statistics

2014: Gawinski Stern was named Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year at the conclusion of her junior season. She played in all 36 matches and all 131 sets. Gawinski Stern ranked second on the team with 35 service aces, and fourth in digs with 266 and kills with 168. She reached double-digit digs in nine matches and kills in eight matches. Her 14 kills against Union on Sept. 5 and 21 digs against Ramapo on Nov. 16 were season-bests. | 2014 match-by-match statistics

2013: Gawinski Stern played in each of the Bombers’ 38 matches as a sophomore, starting four. She dug out a team-best 315 balls, tallying double-digit performances on 16 occasions. Gawinski Stern added 44 kills, 38 aces and 18 assists. | 2013 match-by-match Statistics

2012: Gawinski Stern played in each of the Bombers’ 28 matches as a freshman, starting five. She led the squad with 286 digs, while adding 93 assists, 38 aces and 21 kills. Gawinski Stern recorded match-best numbers of 26 assists, 23 digs, five aces and five kills. | 2012 match-by-match statistics

High School: A 2012 graduate of Brighton High School, Gawinski Stern was a four-year member of the volleyball team as a right side and setter. A two-year captain, she was named to the all-star team in 2011 and received honorable mention in 2010. Gawinski Stern recorded team MVP accolades three times. She also was a member of the track & field team.

Personal: A physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Barbara Gawinski and Phil Stern.
