2012: Selected Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, Garone was named to the all-conference second team as a freshman. She twice earned Empire 8 Rookie of the Week honors and was named to the Ithaca Invitational All-Tournament Team. Having started 26 of the Bombers’ 28 matches, she led Ithaca with 728 assists, recording 30 or more on 10 occasions. Garone thrice surpassed the 40-assist threshold, setting for a season-best 47 assists in the 3-1 victory over Rutgers-Newark. Career Statistics

High School: A 2012 graduate of St. Anthony’s High School, Garone was a four-year setter on the volleyball team. She helped her team to a 2011 New York Catholic School championship. She tallied all-league honors and received the Leadership Award during her senior season.

Personal: An integrated marketing communications major, she is the daughter of Bobby and Lori Garone. Her father is a 1987 Ithaca graduate who earned all-America honors as an offensive lineman. Her brother, Bobby, is a junior center on the Bomber football team.
