2012 game-by-game statistics
2011: In his first varsity season, Cheeseman played on special teams and as a reserve linebacker. He made his first collegiate appearance in Ithaca’s season-opening victory over Brockport and recorded a career-high two tackles (both came in kick coverage). Cheeseman was named Ithaca’s Hustler of the Week following that win. At #21 Salisbury Cheeseman recovered a fumble on a Sea Gull punt return that set up a Bomber touchdown. He recorded a tackle in the Alfred contest. |

2010: Cheeseman was part of the linebacking unit for Ithaca’s junior varsity team as a freshman. He was named the Bombers’ Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the season-opening win over St. Lawrence.
High School: A 2010 graduate of Greece Athena High School, Cheeseman was coached by Rob Cerone. He was a two-time first-team all-county selection and was named to the All-Greater Rochester Team. Cheeseman, who also lettered in hockey and lacrosse, was named Greece Athena’s Athlete of the Year.
Personal: A sport management major, he is the son of Dave and Kim Cheeseman.
