Biography
2014: Cary was named to the All-Empire 8 First Team at tight end. He led Ithaca with eight touchdown receptions. He also had five rushes for 23 yards and a touchdown. It is the first-career all-conference selection for Cary.
Cary was also selected as Ithaca’s recipient of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award. He carries a 3.79 grade-point average along with minoring in legal studies. Cary has earned numerous academic awards, scholarships and honor society designations.2013: He had two catches and a touchdown as a junior. |
2013 Statistics2012: Cary did not see action as a sophomore fullback.
2011: Cary spent his first season with the Bomber program as a linebacker with the junior varsity team. He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following both the fall and spring semesters.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Marlboro Central School, Cary was coached by Rich Ward. He served as the Dukes’ captain as a junior and senior. Cary was a second-team all-state selection and the Section IX Back of the Year in 2010. As a junior he was named Offensive MVP in the Section IX Class B semifinals and a year later he was honored as Defensive MVP in the sectional final.
Personal: An accounting major, he is the son of John and Susan Cary.
