Biography

2011: VanderHill returned to Ithaca’s second varsity 8. She rowed in the seventh seat, helping the Bombers to a fifth-place finish in the grand final at the ECAC Championships. She was named a National Scholar Athlete by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association.

2010: VanDerHill rowed in the seventh seat of Ithaca's second varsity 8, helping the boat to a gold medal at the state championships, third place at the ECAC Championships and fourth place at the NCAA Championships grand final.

High School: Vanderhill was home-schooled. She spent four years competing with the Mendota Rowing Club.

Personal: An environmental studies major, she is the daughter of Jon Vander Hill and Susan Horein.
