2013 Women's Crew Roster

Rachel Mevissen

Biography

2011: Mevissen earned a spot in Ithaca’s varsity 8. She rowed in the second seat, helping the Bombers to fourth-place finishes in the grand finals at both the ECAC Championships and the NCAA Championships. She was named a National Scholar Athlete by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association.

2010: Mevissen rowed in the first seat of Ithaca's novice 4 and second varsity 8.  She helped the second varsity 8 to a gold medal at the state championships, third place at the ECAC championships and fourth place at the NCAA championships.

High School: Mevissen is a 2009 graduate of the Breck School, where she was a member of the soccer team.

Personal: A Spanish major, she is the daughter of Greg and Jeanne Mevissen.
