Biography
2015-2016: Bowe was an All-State honoree by placing sixth at the 200 yard breaststroke at the UNYSCSA Championships.
2014-15: Bowe competed in the breaststroke, individual medley and relays throughout the season. Bowe was part of the 400-yard medley relay team that finished third with a time of 2:44.58 at Cortland.
2013-14: Bowe placed second overall in the 200-yard breaststroke at the Empire 8 / UNYSCSA Championships to earn all-conference and all-state recognition. He also took sixth overall in the 100-yard breaststroke to receive his second all-state honor of the meet. Bowe also competed in individual medley and relay events throughout the season.
2012-13: Bowe placed sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:14.42 at the Ithaca College Invitational on Nov. 30. 2012. He also placed sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke finals at the Empire 8/UNYSCSA Championships, earning all-state honors with a time of 2:09.81.
High School: Bowe graduated from Council Rock North High School. He earned two varsity letters in swimming for coach Brian Johnson.
Personal: James is a health care management major and is the son of James and Victoria Bowe.Â
