RESULTS
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team officially began its 2017-18 season on Saturday as the program traveled over to the East Hill to compete in the Cornell University Greg Page Relays at Barton Hall. Ithaca recorded 11 top 10 finishes at the multi-divisional meet.

Owen Memelo posted the best finish on the day for IC, as they came in fourth at 10:47.77.
Sophomore
Daniel Harden-Marshall placed fifth in the 300-meter dash with a personal-best time of 35.48 seconds. Harden-Marshall also entered the long jump and met an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying mark with a performance of 6.80 meters to place sixth.
The All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) has now replaced the New York State Collegiate Track & Field Conference (NYSCTC). Ithaca will host this meet during the first weekend in March.
Senior
David Dorsey finished fifth in the pole vault with a cleared height of 4.50 meters to qualify for the AARTFC Championships, while sophomore
Robert Greenwald cleared 1.85 meters in the high jump to come in sixth.
Junior
Lee Matthews established a new personal-best in the shot put with a mark of 13.71 meters to place him fifth overall in the event.
Fellow senior
Seth Abbott tied for seventh in the pole vault at 4.35 meters, while sophomore
Joseph Nally posted a mark of 4.20 meters to tie for ninth. Junior
Martin Desmery and sophomore
Alex Dempsey also cleared 4.20 meters but finished in a tie for 11th.
The 4x400-meter relay squad of Munoz, sophomores
Logan Winningham and
Evan Jones and freshman
Jack Culhane posted a time of 3:35.80 to finish eighth overall.
Junior
Alex Arika took eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.63 meters, while sophomore
Harrison Buttrick came in ninth in the weight throw at 13.45 meters.
Ithaca will host its first meet of the season next Friday for a dual against Cortland in the Athletics & Events Center at 4 p.m.
