DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The fourth-ranked Ithaca College wrestling team continued its winning ways on Saturday morning with its second triumph in less than 24 hours. The Bombers rolled to a 33-6 victory over Delaware Valley University to stretch their winning streak to five straight duals.

Ithaca picked up points in eight of the 10 bouts on the day, which included a pair of forfeits at 149-pounds and 197-pounds. It was the second time in as many days that IC collected 33 team points, as it defeated No. 19 Centenary in the first matchup of the weekend by a 33-9 score.

The Bombers got off to a strong start at 125-pounds when
Jimmy Kaishian (10th NWCA, 9th d3wrestle.com) scored bonus points with an 11-3 major decision over Delaware Valley's Brenden Velez. The victory was Kaishian's 10th by major decision on the year.

Sophomore
Ferdinand Mase extended Ithaca's lead to 7-0 with a 6-0 shutout of the Aggies Tucker Velez. The win ended up being the decisive in IC's lopsided win.

The 141-pound matchup turned out to be one of the best of the day, as senior
Nick Wahba (10th NWCA, 7th d3wrestle.com) got all he could handle from Delaware Valley's Tim Ambacher (3rd NWCA, 3rd d3wrestle.com) in one of two ranked-on-ranked matchups of the day. Wahba led 3-2 through two periods; however, he was whistled for stalling early to begin the third frame to equalize the score at 3-3.

Ambacher looked poised to squeeze out a narrow victory when he scored an escape point with under one-minute remaining in the bout, but Wahba had the final say. The senior took Ambacher to the mat with just three-seconds remaining to pull back ahead 5-4 for a thrilling upset. The win upped Ithaca's lead to 10-0 in the match.

Ithaca took a 16-0 lead through four bouts when
Sammy Schneider received a forfeit at 149-pounds. The Aggies finally got on the board at 157-pounds when Sekou Harris outlasted
Demitri D'Orsaneo for an 8-3 decision.

The Bombers won four consecutive bouts in the second half of the match to pull away.
Nick Velez (4th NWCA, 6th d3wrestle.com) picked up bonus points in a 21-3 technical fall over Brandon Rudy.
Jaison White also put a strong finish on his weekend with a comfortable 11-4 decision against the Aggies' Anthony Snyder. The two wins widened Ithaca's edge to 24-3, effectively clinching the match.

Jake Ashcraft picked up an impressive victory over nationally-ranked 174-pounder Benjamin Schweiger (5th NWCA) who wrestled up in today's match. In a tactical bout, Ashcraft outlasted the crafty Schweiger for a 6-4 decision. Capping the points for IC was
Carlos Toribio (3rd NWCA, 2nd d3wrestle.com), who received a forfeit at 197-pounds.

Delaware Valley picked up the win in the second ranked-on-ranked matchup of the day. Defending national champion and current No. 1 285-pounder Zach Roseberry won his 50th consecutive bout in defeating Ithaca's
Jake O'Brien (10th d3wrestle.com) in a 10-3 decision.
