ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Ithaca College women's lacrosse team received Division III Academic Honor Squad recognition from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for the 2014 season.

To qualify for the IWLCA Academic Honor Squad honors, a team needs to have a combined GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Ithaca women's lacrosse team earned this honor in 2013 as well. Ithaca is one of 254 colleges and universities to earn the IWLCA Academic Honor Squads award. Of the 254 schools, 125 Division III institutions made the grade.

The Bombers finished the 2014 season with a 12-6 overall record, including a 7-0 record in the Empire 8 conference.
