ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College baseball team continued to hold spots in national and regional rankings for the week of May 6. The Bombers carry a 26-9 overall record into the final weekend of the regular season. Ithaca is ranked 21st by the American Baseball Coaches Association, 19th by D3baseball.com and second in the New York Region by the NCAA regional advisory committee.
The NCAA Regional Rankings are compiled under the same criteria used to determine bids and seeding for the NCAA Tournament. The 2014 NCAA Division III Baseball Championships field and regional site assignments will be announced late Sunday, May 11.
Ithaca will visit Brockport at 1 p.m. Saturday for a single nine-inning game to conclude its regular season.
