NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Ithaca College men's and women's track & field teams remained ranked in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Atlantic Region Top 10 polls. The
week six polls were announced Wednesday. The women's team dropped from second to fourth, while the men remained in 10th.
The squads last competed Friday and Saturday at the 2014 New York State Collegiate Track Conference outdoor championships at St. John Fisher. The women won their sixth straight and 22nd overall title. Ithaca recorded 166 points en route to victory. The Bombers had 32 individual and three relay All-NYSCTC finishes during competition. The men's team scored 101 points to place third out of 13 teams. Ithaca placed in the top three for the 15th time in its 28-year involvement with the conference. The Bombers had 20 individual and three relay All-NYSCTC finishes during the meet.
The Bombers will return to action Saturday, May 10 at Oneonta's May Meet.
